Personal Statement

 

I am searching for a position that will allow me to utilize my experience to grow as an effective employee and contributor to a growing company. I can multi-task and have always handled challenging tasks well; whatever the situation is I thrive at delivering results. I work very well with no supervision, while still achieving goals and delivering high quality of work in a timely manner.  I have received positive feedback on my innovative thinking and have been effective in exceeding set expectations of requirements by my employers and customers. I work well with others and maintain excellent client relationships.

 

 

Work Experience:

Outside Plant (OSP) Design Engineer                                                          June 2011-Present: AFL (Contracting for AT&T)

 

·   Completed and provided support for over 100 projects engineering F2 Conditioning, IMAT-BAU, & FTTB (Fiber to the Business) for AT&T under contract to AFL.

·   Submitted multiple jobs per week, self-managing time under little to no supervision while meeting or exceeding time restraints.

·   Highly Proficient in fielding and design of OSP networks, specializing in knowledge of the LightSpeed Project implementing AT&T’s Uverse.

·   Daily use of programs such as, but not limited to, Excel, Word, Microstation ARES, DCP, FEI, MIC, CFAS, IMAGINE, Outlook and others which I am more than proficient in. 

 

 

Outside Plant (OSP) Design Engineer & COM SPOC/ Supervisor                       Feb 2007 – Jun 2011: Versacom L.L.C.

 

·   Completed and provided support over 300 projects for AT&T under contract to Versacom.

·   Completed field surveys and City/Construction Permits for a cabinet placement, making an Auto CAD drawing to represent the exact conditions in the field.

·   Gained valuable experience in traffic control design, reading and interpreting property easement maps and other utility schematics and diagrams.

·   Promoted to site supervisor/ COM SPOC after the first 6 months and was directly responsible for the quality of work, produced and submitted to AT&T for 50+ Versacom L.L.C. Engineers within the San Jose Office.

·   Relocated to the AT&T district office in San Ramon. Trained and became a vital part of the F2 Conditioning group working closely with management and construction in the next phase of the LightSpeed Project.

 

 

Iron Worker/ Mig Welder                                                              2005-2007: WilFab, Inc./ Steelbelt Constructors Inc.

 

·   2 years of Fabrication shop work and field Iron Worker experience

·   Trained in MIG welding

·   Built, constructed, and installed everything from a steeple for a church, miles of hand rails for parks and business’, a 3 store mini mall, a 27,000sqft mezzanine, elevator shafts and much more.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Applications and have worked extensively with other Microstation programs like ARES, Field View as well as many Oracle databases and applications for AT&T and CAD programs such as AutoCAD LT 98’ & AutoCAD 2006.
